How awesome was the LOST premiere last Thursday? I was literally on the edge of my seat for an hour! The writers flipped the script in last season's finale, and the dynamic of the show is more exciting and more unpredictable than ever!! BRILLIANT. In true LOST fashion, Hurley's flash-forward raised more questions than answers. In addition to Jack, Kate, and Hurley, who else made it off the island, and do they comprise the Oceanic 6? Who is the uber creepy new character Matthew Abbaddon and why does he want to know if "they are still alive"? Why does Charlie's "ghost" beckon Hurley to help those who were left on the island? Why can't the Oceanic 6 talk about what happened on the island? What is the "it" Hurley is referring to when telling Jack "it" wants them to go back? Why does Hurley regret going with Locke instead of staying with Jack? This episode entitled THE BEGINNING OF THE END confirmed one thing and one thing only: it ain't over 'til it's over. With 3 seasons left to answer all of the burning questions raised over the past 4 years, we're in for quite a thrill ride! Here is a sneak peek for episode 2:
Unless you've been a castaway on a deserted island, you're well aware that tomorrow is a HUGE day politically. It's Super Tuesday... 24 states will hold primaries or caucuses. The Republican front-runner John McCain has been taking rapid fire from many conservative talk radio hosts, the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingram refuse to support him. Even Ann Coulter has gone on record by saying she will vote for Clinton if McCain is the GOP's nominee. Seems the right wing ideologues are coalescing behind Mitt Romney. FOX NEWS has been propping him up for months. I just don't understand it. Are these people delusional? Riddle me this. How is Romney more of a conservative than Mike Huckabee? Huckabee has been a man of conviction, while Romney has been a man of convenience. Romney's camp has been attempting to spin the Republican contest into a two-man race, consisting of himself and McCain, which is completely disingenuous. He knows Huckabee is getting the votes that he desperately needs. I believe tomorrow will be the beginning of the end for Romney.
For the Dems, the race for the White House is pretty much a popularity contest because there is virtually NO difference in policy between the two candidates. This does not bode well for Billary, they are sooo last century! Even those in the Beltway from their own party want them out. It's time for the sweet new refreshing style of Barack Obama, not the same sour old bitterness of Hillary Clinton. As much as I wouldn't mind running against Billary in the general election, I'm tired of them. It's time for them to go home to New York... or Arkansas... wherever! Just exit the political stage already. Obama seems to have momentum going into the vote tomorrow. He's overcoming double digit deficits in the polls of many swing states, with California being the significant prize. Unless Hillary has another EMO moment like she did in New Hampshire, Obama will continue to make gains. YES, WE CAN heal this nation! Here's to hoping tomorrow is the beginning of the end for Hillary Clinton.
Georgia is currently a toss up state for the Republicans, so make sure you GET OUT AND VOTE!!!
