american idol 7 - top 12 girls

Kristy Lee Cook - RESCUE ME - shaky start, she looked like a deer in headlights at times.

Joanne Borgella - SAY A LITTLE PRAYER - loooved the song choice, but the vocal was underwhelming... her nerves got the best of her.

Alaina Whitaker - MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY - she had me at hello. She took the same song that Chikezie made cheesy last night and actually made it interesting. Great job!

Amanda Overmyer - BABY PLEASE DON'T GO - she certainly spiced things up a bit, gave the song her own unique flavor. Loved her!

Amy Davis - WHERE THE BOYS ARE - boring and forgettable.

Brooke White - SO HAPPY TOGETHER - her performance had an endearing quirkiness about it. {Side Note: David Cook did a better job with that song last night.}

Alexandrea Lushington - SPINNING WHEEL - what an unpredictable song choice, an utterly delightful surprise! She made it fun and funky!! She. Worked. It. Out.

Kady Malloy - GROOVY KIND OF LOVE - great voice, bad song choice... anti-climatic.

Asia'h Epperson - PIECE OF MY HEART - sweet and sassy, very confident on stage. One of the better performances of the night!

Ramiele Malubay - YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME - powerful vocal, haaated the song choice.

Syesha Mercado - TOBACCO ROAD - she's got a great SCREAMING voice... I personally didn't think she was all that.

Carly Smithson - SHADOW OF YOUR SMILE - what a dull end to a completely lackluster night! Ok, she can sing, I get it... the judges and producers don't have to consistently shove her talent down my throat. I just wasn't entertained. On the contrary, I was compelled to change the channel. I definitely wouldn't pay 99 cents to buy that track on iTunes.
