project runway 4 - what's the skinny?

Challenge: Create an everyday outfit for women who have recently lost a significant amount of weight--100 lbs. PLUS, in some cases! Each designer was assigned one of the women as a model and had to convey their own point of view while incorporating pieces of their model's fave outfit PRE-WEIGHT LOSS. A budget of $10 was given for additional materials.

**SIDE NOTE: Steven had the dubious honor of starting with a pretty ornate canvas: a wedding gown! Oh, the draaama!!**



Winner: Christian's ensemble was FIERCE-ly chic!



Auf'd: Steven's wedding gown turned "French Maid" costume. BAD... very bad. The working girl aesthetic was just the half of it, the costruction was horrid! He actually had to glue the outfit together at crunch time. Obviously, he did NOT "make it work".

Fave quote: Steven's reaction to his model, "I got picked for the wedding dress. It felt like death on a stick."

Designers I loooved in this episode: Christian IS a star, rocking the winning outfit; Jack, for putting his health FIRST by bowing out of the competition to get doctor recommended treatment for his infection; Chris, for being back and more adorable than ever... (he was given the opportunity to return after being auf'd last week, given Jack's withdrawal this week); and all of the designers (even Vicky "Bossy Cow" Wang) who gave a helping hand during Steven's design catastrophe... he shall be missed.
