My Harvest Crusades devotional today was amazing. It has a such powerful message: "God's delays are not necessarily his denials." Pastor Greg also poignantly states, "God will allow us to get to the end of our rope, to the end of our resources, so we will finally cling to Him." No matter what you're going through, remember to CLING TO CHRIST! I've been listening to a song called "Storm" by Lifehouse a lot recently, and the lyrics remind me of the story of Jesus walking on water in Matthew 14:22-33. Here are the lyrics:
How long have I been in this storm
So overwhelmed by the ocean’s shapeless form
Water's getting harder to tread
With these waves crashing over my head
If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If I'd see you
This darkness would turn to light
And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be all right
I know everything will be all right
I know you didn’t bring me out here to drown
So why am I ten feet under and upside down
Barely surviving has become my purpose
Because I’m so used to living underneath the surface
If I could just see you
Everything would be all right
If I'd see you
This darkness would turn to light
And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be all right
I know everything will be all right
And I will walk on water
And you will catch me if I fall
And I will get lost into your eyes
I know everything will be all right
I know everything is all right
Everything's all right
